Our pets are a part of our families. With so many animals out there in search of their own forever homes, we want to help them out along the way. Rescue organizations and shelters in our community work hard to help as many animals as possible and rely on donations to do so.

Partnering with Portland Animal Welfare (PAW) Team

PAW Team provides free veterinary care and pet supplies for pets of families in Portland experiencing houselessness or extreme poverty. Each year, their volunteer-powered, grassroots organization serves more than 1,200 Portland Metro Area families in need. PAW Team's medical programs offer both wellness care including vaccines and preventatives, as well as ongoing continued care for pets with chronic conditions.

Services are offered at their homebase location on NE 82nd, and well as offsite throughout the community thanks to partnerships with human housing and health organizations. Additionally, PAW Team's Pet Supply Bank offers supplementary pet food as well as coats, toys, and other pet accessories to more than 700 families every month. PAW Team is here to preserve the animal-human bond and help pets stay with their loving families by providing an accessible, affordable option for care.

Partnering with Secondhand Pet Supply

Secondhand Pet Supply, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, was created to save pet owners money on products they need while helping the environment. Their goal is to help eliminate unwanted clutter from unused pet products. While thinking about what our community can do to be more sustainable, it's essential to remember our pet's carbon paw-print. Having a place where you can donate gently used pet products extends the item's life and prevents it from going to waste. Their team ensures that all products are inspected, cleaned, and ready for use before being resold.

Partnering with Puplandia Dog Rescue

Puplandia Dog Rescue is an Oregon based, volunteer driven, nonprofit organization that was founded to facilitate the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of dogs while forming partnerships with other local rescues, shelters, veterinarians and businesses. Puplandia provides spay, neuter and foster services to prevent unwanted animals and decrease the number of dogs surrendered to shelters and rescues. They provide support in the form of food, medical care, pet supplies, training and education to all who seek it. Items provided by Ridwell members will be used within Puplandia's services when possible and shared with other rescues, shelters, veterinarians and foster homes when needed.

Join the movement to build a future without waste.
