Portable devices.

Every year, there is a new upgrade or the next best version of your devices.

Sitting around the house are obsolete tablets, e-readers, phones, laptops, music players, and GPSs that just don't get used anymore.

These devices can still be used by others or broken down to be recycled over and over again. Don't just let your Walkman collect dust!

Why use Ridwell?

Some devices can be reused while others are taken apart to be recycled into new things.

Please return your devices to factory settings if possible, but if you're not able to not then don't worry! Our partners will securely wipe the information from every single device we give them.

Partnering with Green Century

Green Century was founded in 2008 on the principle that there is no such thing as “throw it away”. They have been a leader for the responsible recycling of electronics, ensuring the highest use of the materials they collect. Green Century currently has certifications in R2v3, ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 and is an Oregon E-Cycle provider. E-waste collected by Ridwell members will be refurbished and resold or donated if in a reusable state, or responsibly recycled if the product is at the end of its life.

Green Century also collects Styrofoam and EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) products for recycling! Styrofoam collected by Ridwell members will be ground up and densified into blocks. This material is then recycled and manufactured into new plastic products like picture frames, crown molding, TV and computer cases and other products!

Join the movement to build a future without waste.
